Club run to Fairlands Valley Park, Stevenage
Sunshine, makes a change, but didn’t last. On the return, it started spitting with rain, and I got a puncture (rear). Puncture induced by the appalling state of the roads. After the puncture, which was at Gustard Wood, I could not get back on the group, and limped home. I’m led to believe that this phenomenon is common after having trained on the turbo almost exclusively. You get to a point when you just run out. I need to do more on the roads, luckily the new job starts on Tuesday, and should enable me to ride into work on a fairly regular basis.
