Back to the road by 01badger at Garmin Connect – Details.
Tempted back out on the road again, despite the weather, it was good to be out there. Rather than risk it with the club, I went out with the boys from the close, amongst whom two are training for the Ride Across Britain (John O’Groats to Lnads End) later this year. Generally the pace with these guys is gentler than the club, and this was also true today. We just did a circuit up through Redbourn, Dunstable Downs, Ivinghoe (I dropped down into Ivinghoe Aston to do the whole climb), the tea room at the monument, and back via the Briden’s Camp hill. The biys were going on to do a loop through Hemel and back up through Apsley, but I had committed to being home in time for Lunch, so I continued when they cut off at the Jockey End turn.
The hand wasn’t too painful, but I did remove it from the handlebars on some particularly potholed roads.
