I haven’t actually stopped training, just with holidays and work, I haven’t done as much as I’d have liked, and I haven’t had too much time to blog about what I have been doing.
Last weekend I did manage to cycle to Leicester on Saturday (following wind, thought it was easy) and back on Sunday (into the wind, head down, struggle…). It is about 75 miles each way so not a bad weekend’s cycling.
Today, as the weather didn’t look that nice, I took the opportunity to set up the Turbo again. I did a 90 minute session in the 139-149bpm range – the fat burning range, as that’s the thing I have to do to improve.
At one point I broke the Turbo, but as you can see, application of “Birmingham Screwdriver” got things back going again.
