Only managed one midweek ride this week. However, today we did a 120 mile route with around 2684m of climb. Were based the ride around the Chiltern 100 route, with the extra from cycling to the route and back from St Albans. I borrowed a Garmin 705 but it was useless. Having loaded the route, it was trying to make me go strange ways. Them, after about 50 miles, it reset itself ~ right the way back to the initial setup. So I have no data for the ride at all. The idea is good, but it seems to me that you have to really want all the features to persevere with the damned thing. Jon advises me we did 209km, 8h3m, av 25.93kmh, 2684m climb.
Anyways, that was the last long one before the day. We’ll have to see what the motivation (and weather, and the wife’s opinion) is like in the morning to see if I go out with the club.
And now for the taper
